Jewish and Muslim youth commemorate Holocaust

It's nice to see Muslims reaching out to others in a respectful way. The Muslim community needs to do more of this.

Claire M. the mother of two young scouts, Zacari and Narimel, said she believed it was important to bring her children participate in the commemoration.

“As most little children, they probably don’t understand the full meaning of the tragedy,” she said, “but I think that by talking about the Holocaust and participating in these ceremonies they will little by little come to understand the horror of the genocide.”

“As Muslim scouts, we believe in dialogue and living together in respect for one another.
